Review Policy

I am happy to accept review copies from both publishers and/or authors, including self-published authors. If you are interested please email me the details at readthebloodybook@outlook.com

I am a full-time PhD student at university, so I cannot promise that I will be able to accept all books or that they will be read immediately. It’s always better to discuss sending me books before actually sending them.

All reviews will be honest and unbiased and be posted both here on my blog, on Tumblr and on goodreads. Links to reviews/review alerts will also be posted on my Twitter (@readbloodybook) and Instagram (@readthebbook) I am also able to post reviews to certain retailer websites if requested.

Please note that I do not post DNF (did not finish) reviews, although I always try to finish a book, sometimes I just cannot get through particular titles.

I read a range of genres (fiction) including:

• Fantasy
• Science Fiction
• Dystopian
• Post-apocalyptic
• Horror
• Literary Fiction
• Historical Fiction

I prefer YA or adult fiction, but am open to reading middle grade as well when pre-arranged.

I will not accept review copies for:

• Erotica
• Non-fiction
• Religious fiction
• Short stories

Format: I am happy with either physical books (please be aware I live in Australia) or either .epub or Kindle format for ebooks.

If you would like photos of your book to be displayed on my blog a hardcopy will be required.

★★★★★  I absolutely loved it!

★★★★ I really liked it but it wasn’t perfect

★★★ I quite liked it but some things bothered me

★★ I didn’t like it but it must have had some appealing quality

★ I hated it
