Friday Photographer Feature – Dylan Reads (d-l-y)

Hello, everyone! I know it’s been ages since I’ve done one of these features, but I’ve just been super busy and then got out of the habit, but I’m hoping to do lots more of them from now on. Probably not every week, but every couple of weeks for sure. Today’s amazing photographer is the amazing Dylan Reads (known as DylanReads on Instagram and d-l-y on Tumblr, and these photos are just amazing. Question Time! There are so many that I absolutely adore, but I’d have to say Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley.  Favourite classic:  Definitely The Old Man and the Sea by Earnest Hemingway. Such a beautiful book! Hello everyone! Happy Friday. Boy have I had a day (had a massive experiment to do and i’m exhausted). So I am definitely in need of some lovely photography. Today’s photographer is the wonderful Books with Bazzi. Questions! Name: Zaynab Ali Bazzi Location: Denmark Favourite book: You really want me to pick only one? In this case I read The Queen of the Tearling this year and I LOVED it. Favourite classic: Is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho considered a classic? If so, this will be it. Favorite book to photograph: Hardbacks are great books to photograph – they stand up easily, you can take the dusk jacket off and position them both differently. Friday Photographer Feature – Books From My Shelf

Hello lovelies! It’s Friday! This week I have Trina from Books From My Shelf with me to share some lovely photography. Trina has absolutely awesome taste in books and going through her photos I noticed that we seem to have very similar tastes in books! Yay! Trina also runs the very important Book Trigger List that basically has huge numbers  of books organsised for those who  need trigger warnings, which is pretty awesome. Happy Friday, everyone! This week’s feature almost didn’t happen because of my lack of organisational skills but we got there in the end. This week’s lovely photographer is the wonderful Kelsey from Darcy’s Book Blog. I love her photos, especially the dark ones. Dark book photos are so thoroughly underrated in my opinion. I love them and I don’t feel like there are enough of them. Question Time! In case you haven’t picked up on this, I am an absolute sucker for photos of books and pets and these little cuties are so adorable! Questions!
